A brochure was required to both promote Canada’s history of technological leadership in the emerging fuel cell sector and communicate the unique ways in which 6 federal departments each support the sector.
HISTORY OF FUEL CELL INNOVATION BROCHURE
Project goal: A group of 6 federal departments, which has helped support Canada’s hydrogen and fuel cell sector for more than 20 years, required a brochure that would both promote Canada’s history of technological leadership in this emerging clean-energy sector and also communicate the unique ways in which each federal department supports the sector.
Creative approach/execution: We created a 6-panel brochure, printed on 100-lb gloss stock, which achieved these departments’ goal in remarkably compact package. Folded, the brochure measured 6.25x11”. Fully open and laid flat it revealed a detailed timeline of highlights of Canadian fuel cell and hydrogen technology innovation spanning 1978 to 2003 as well as succinct descriptions of how Environment Canada, Industry Canada, Natural Resources Canada, National Research Council, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council and Western Economic Diversification support the sector.
