World Diabetes Day

Since 2007, we have worked with the Canadian Diabetes Association to produce an annual special national feature designed to raise awareness about diabetes and its impact on Canada. Timed to coincide with World Diabetes Day, this digital and print feature is an integral part of the CDA's public outreach efforts, reaching more than 1.1 million Globe readers on the day of publication. In addition to delivering authoritative and finely crafted information about the disease, the feature offers expert insight to help Canadians prevent and manage diabetes. 

A Novo Nordisk-sponsored digital ad campaign on globeandmail.com delivered 1 million impressions and drove online traffic to the World Diabetes Day content appearing in The Globe’s special report hub.
