Prior to forming The BBM Group early in 2005, I had served as the Chief Executive, Americas, for the World Gold Council for over 15 years.

During that period, I had several opportunities to work with Randall Anthony Communications on the development, production and distribution of magazine and newspaper sections on gold and the gold market. Partly due to my prior working relationships at the WGC, I and my BBM Group associates were pleased to again work with RAC on the Report on Business precious metals section distributed in late September. As always, I was pleased by he professionalism of the working relationship and the ability of RAC to understand the objectives and needs of the project's various constituents. I and my associates would welcome the opportunity for another such collaboration.

“I found Randall to be extremely professional, balanced and knowledgeable. Randall was attentive while at the same time challenging and engaging in excellent discussion and dialogue about the various positions that are a natural part of this complex issue. He was clear and fair about need for balance and felt interaction with him was most appropriate--respectful, engaging and focused on creating a well rounded article for readers. The Globe opportunity was a valued one for Dow -- enabling us to on one hand share "our story" through the advert, while engaging in the opportunity to share perspectives in an open and balance forum. Randall showed interest and focus on understanding our perspectives, while at the same time keeping all stakeholders, and multiple opinions as an integral part of the discussion and end result.”

“Let me begin with acknowledging what a true professional you are. At Four Seasons, we value our culture above and beyond any “technical” aspect of a job. Our highest priority when hiring is what we describe as a “cultural fit”, with the understanding that we can teach technical skills as needed. We try to approach our business partnerships with these cultural values; the way in which you present yourself and your product is a testament to this policy. “…The development of our business partnership has consistently followed a long-term and value-oriented approach. As a result of this foundation, we have participated in each of the Scottsdale features you have produced. The opportunities have been presented to us in a variety of forms. We have placed display advertisements within the section; we have participated in sweepstakes offers for readers; and we have enjoyed the benefit of editorial coverage. In each of these situations, the caliber of the production has been excellent. Clearly, the manner with which Four Seasons presents itself is paramount to our brand. All pieces you have produced thus far have served to strengthen our brand image. “These elements have combined to produce excellent financial results for the resort… “For all of these reasons, I am very pleased that we have developed our business relationship over the past several years. And, I would be happy to speak further on any of these points if necessary. Please provide my contact information to whomever you wish and thank you again for the opportunity.

Representing The Globe and Mail newspaper, RandallAnthony Communications has developed special reports promoting Canadian travel to Arizona since 2003. “As director of marketing for the Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau, I had the pleasure of working with RandallAnthony Communications on our annual Arizona advertising promotion we developed with The Globe & Mail. This project involved not only the GPCVB, but also several other CVBs throughout the state and the Arizona Office of Tourism as well as a wide range of advertisers as well. Ensuring that all of the marketing partners were represented equitably and that all approved the design of the piece was no small feat, but Randall accomplished it brilliantly. He expressed a genuine interest in our destination and no matter what he experienced he managed to glean something intriguing out of it for his audience. Randall's fabulous writing and design style helped capture the attention of the readership and, as a result, Arizona experienced a 26 per cent growth in visitations from Canada from 2003 to 2004; and we expect similar results in 2005.”

Hyatt has been profiled in special reports on Arizona RAC has produced for The Globe and Mail since 2001. In 2005, Hyatt signed on as an advertiser for the Globe and Mail 7 Wonders series, promoting Canadian travel to Arizona. "Without question, I think that you do a tremendous job for all of us! You are the utmost professional and a delight to work with. You are enthusiastic, extremely detailed and want to make sure that what you write is completely accurate. Honestly, everything that I have seen that you have produced has been top notch, especially your coverage of Vu!!! You are at the top of my list when it comes to the many fine journalists who I have worked with in my 25-year career in public relations for Hyatt Hotels, most recently Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch. I do so hope that we will have many more opportunities to work together.

Small Business Innovation
TELUS Business Solutions

To advertise within an editorial environment that was entirely relevant for micro-business owners but didn't have an advertorial theme, Telus created, with The Globe and Mail, the Small Business Innovation feature.

Sales were up 7% between April and June 2006, and the feature is credited with playing a large part in that success.
