VANCOUVER FUEL CELL VEHICLE PROGRAM CARS

Project goal: The VFCVP involves a multi-year demonstration, testing and monitoring of five Ford Focus fuel cell vehicles in day-to-day fleet applications. These cars required VFCVP and partner branding as well as key messaging conveyed through vehicle graphics.

Creative approach/execution: In addition to applying the VFCVP logo to the driver’s side and passenger doors, we employed other graphic elements to deliver information and key messages about the VFCVP car, such as “zero emissions vehicle” and “hydrogen powered.” A prominent H2 on the vehicle’s hood ensured it could be identified from overhead as well. Overall, the look and feel is clean and sleek, notions consistent with the clean automotive technology. Ford applied physical graphics in Detroit.
