Randall A. Mang

Founder and President 

A graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology’s School of Marketing Management, Randall began writing professionally in 1996 and fast became a regular contributor to (Hollinger / Canwest’s) Lower Mainland Publishing, including its major dailies The Vancouver Sun & Province, as well as BC Business magazine and Business in Vancouver. At the same time, he began providing marketing communications services to clients including Simon Fraser University, The GLOBE Foundation and the Government of Canada. In 2000, Randall began contributing to The Globe and Mail, a relationship that has seen RAC grow to become the largest contributor to The Globe’s Custom Content Group. Today, RAC also provides communications design and content marketing services to organizations including Export Development Canada, ExpressScripts Canada and others.

Lori Bamber

Managing Editor and Senior Writer

Lori Bamber is a writer and editor as well as the author of seven books on personal finance and investment. Chatelaine Magazine’s Money Expert from 2004 to 2007. Formerly a regular contributor to Alberta Venture Magazine and BCBusiness Magazine, Lori has been widely quoted in publications such as Canadian Living and Today’s Parent as a personal finance author. 

She co-hosted CKNW’s daily Moneyline show and guest-hosted Money Talks on the Corus Radio Network, and has been a guest of radio and television programs across the country, including Marketplace and CBC NewsWorld. Lori has been an active participant in online networks since 1993 and has a nuanced understanding of print, radio, TV and online media realms as well as the intersections between them.

 Chris Freimond

Managing Editor and Senior Writer

Chris Freimond is a public relations consultant based in Vancouver where he provides communications support and writing services to a range of clients in the energy and natural resource sectors. Before moving to Canada in 1995 Chris worked as a business and political journalist in Southern Africa. He is a former General Manager and Vice President of Hill & Knowlton Strategies in B.C. and was a Senior Counsellor for eight years with Hoggan and Associates, a Vancouver public relations firm. Chris has an MBA in Public Relations and Communications Management from Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C. and is an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) with the International Association of Business Communicators.

Susanne Martin

Managing Editor and Senior Writer

For the last 25 years, the written word has been central to Susanne Martin’s career – from editing a community newspaper and writing travel books, to teaching creative writing.

An established author with publications in travel writing, journalistic writing, custom content and essays, Susanne never tires of hearing (and writing about) people’s stories. As an editor, she enjoys the process of looking at a subject matter and presenting it in fresh and captivating ways. 

Having been honoured with a number of national and North American awards for her writing and publications, Susanne still considers a reader’s engagement the ultimate reward.

Lynn Sully

Managing Editor and Senior Writer

After graduating in 1992 with an MA in English from the University of Toronto, Lynn worked for a national environmental consulting firm as a technical writer and researcher. She then moved to Vancouver in 1996 and co-founded a communications company that has completed more than 1500 writing and editing projects for clients in the corporate, public, educational and non-profit sectors. Her work encompasses articles, custom content, technical writing, marketing communications and websites.

Ward Stendahl

Editor and proofreader

From 1992-1995, Ward was a lexicographer and encyclopedist on the first edition of the Canadian Oxford Dictionary (published in 1998). In 1996, he co-founded a communications company, working as an editor and proofreader for clients in the corporate, public, educational and non-profit sectors. Ward has a first class honours degree in English from the University of Calgary.

 

Scott Laing

Art Director

Scott has been designing effective communication materials for more than 30 years. After receiving a diploma in graphic design from Kwantlen College in Surrey, BC, Scott set to work creating award-winning work for multiple branding and publishing firms in the Vancouver area. A three year position at The Globe and Mail's WEST magazine cemented his love of publishing design. Following decades of successful work ranging from logo design and annual reports to websites and more, Scott launched his own firm in 2002. At RandallAnthony Communications Scott brings his design leadership, sensibilities and experience to a wide range of clients and projects.

 

Nancy Seiz

Graphic Design, Production Manager

Nancy brings more than 20 years of experience in graphic design and media production to her work at RAC. After receiving an Applied Art and Graphic Arts Production Co-ordinator Diploma, Nancy began her career in newspapers at the Cambridge Reporter in her hometown of Cambridge, Ontario. She then worked at the Canadian Press in Toronto, moving west to the Calgary Sun and the Calgary Herald and independently for her own firm, NS Design.

Tanya Camp

Website and digital design

A graphic designer and front-end web developer Tanya works in both print and web media and has produced works for private and public sector clients and a variety of audiences. She enjoys solving how to deliver content in a variety of mediums, balancing aesthetic sensitivity and implementation requirements, while maintaining consistency in tone and message. Tanya has a background in visual communication design and painting, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (BFA) and a diploma in New Media Design from the University of Alberta.

Angela West

Director of Social Media

Angela West got her start in social media in 2009 writing a popular online resource for Twitter, the Ultimate Guide to Everything Twitter,. She went on to write about social media for PC World’s Business Center and other tech publications and websites, while managing online communities and social media accounts for various clients. Angela also has extensive corporate website copywriting experience, producing content primarily for the insurance, technology and telecommunications sectors. She joined the RandallAnthony Communications team as Social Media Director in early 2014.

 

Louise Mang

ADMINISTRATOR, EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Louise manages RAC’s administration including its accounts receivable and payables. She also serves as executive assistant to Randall Mang.
